Atom AE Wraps up the Season on a High Note
Submitted By Ian Siertsema on Monday, March 29, 2010
Yes, the fat lady sang and the season ended.

After playing a four team round, beating Milverton rep in a best 3 of 5 semi final, then taking Listowel AE to a deciding game in a best 2 of 3 final, the Icedogs couldn’t quite finish the Cyclones off. However, game 3 was a close and exciting game for fans and players.

There were big shots, big saves and even bigger pile ups in front of both nets. To complete the excitement a dramatic ending…..…..with 1:40 left on the clock, the Icedogs had a face off in the Listowel end. They pulled the goalie and went for it. They had shots blocked, shots saved, shots off posts, and shots that missed. In the end the score was still Listowel 3 BCH 0. Congratulations to the BCH atom AE Icedogs. You are WOAA Neilson Conference Consolation Finalists. Well done.

The coaches would like to congratulate the team for all they have accomplished this year. The players have demonstrated dedication and perseverance as they worked through the season. As individuals they have each grown and improved tremendously. As a team they have achieved far more than was ever expected of them. The coaches would also like to thank the parents for their support and understanding throughout the season. Well done to all. See you next September.
