Returning to Play
Submitted By Shelby Lovett on Tue 09 21, 21
It has been a challenge to get information out that is accurate and timely as it seems there is an update every day from either OMHA or the municipalities.

We are doing our best to navigate all organizations' policies with the goal of providing as safe a return to hockey as possible.

Please review the attached policy documents from BCH as well as those provided by the municipalities and the OMHA.

In keeping with our area facility COVID policies, starting Wednesday, September 22, ALL SPECTATORS 12 and older will be required to show proof of vaccination and screening to enter any arena. Participants are excluded from showing proof when entering the arenas but will require proof to be rostered to a team. OMHA requires ALL participants (including bench staff) to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 31, 2021.

If not already fully vaccinated, players and bench staff have until Oct. 17 to get a second vaccine in order to meet the fully vaccinated requirement for Oct. 31. If your player will not be fully vaccinated by October 31 then they should not be attending tryouts.

We are also required to screen players and bench staff and we will forward and post a Google Form link separate from this email.

Players, please dress as much as possible at home before ice times, we are allowed 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after in the dressing rooms. Parents, please stay out of dressing rooms as much as possible.

Please note Oct 15, 2021, is the deadline for all remaining registration fees.

We are thankful for those who have volunteered to help with Executive recently and we are still looking to fill the Tournament Chair position. BCH usually hosts the Grant Lee Novice (U9) tournament and this cannot continue without more assistance from our members. We are hoping to host this tournament later this year or in early 2022.
