Looking to make a difference in your Local Hockey Centre?
We have the Town Contact position available!!

As Town Contact, your main task is to facilitate registration with Hockey Canada, for all players, coaches, and team volunteers - this includes working with the WOAA to finalize all approved team rosters at the start of the season. You work closely with coaches to ensure they have the appropriate paperwork for all tournaments and exhibition games.

Our governing body, the WOAA, closely follows the OMHA guidelines for minor hockey and you are the liaison between our hockey association and the WOAA in all situations. There are two required meeting per season at the WOAA office in Wingham - first one is in September, the second just before playoffs.  In preparation for playoffs, you will deliver the schedule, details, and updates obtained from the WOAA meeting to all coaches and provide them with support in the case of suspensions and signing affiliated players.

If you can see yourself in this role, come join our executive committee!  Contact Nathan Hern for more information.
