The Municipality of Bluewater held a meeting on July 30 at 2 PM to discuss the fate of the ice surface in the Bayfield Arena.

Thanks to the efforts of the Bayfield Figure Skating Club (news coverage), the major users of the Bayfield Arena ice surface had the opportunity to have their concerns heard by council.

The future of the Bayfield Arena continuing to serve as an ice rink beyond the 2013/14 season lies in the hands of a working group who will present their recommendations to Bluewater council.
