H1N1 Virus Results in Change in Hand Shaking Practice
Submitted By The Web Guy on Saturday, October 17, 2009
On the advice of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) BCH Minor Hockey is instituting a new hand shaking policy prior to games.  The OMHA has advised against having players remove their gloves during the hand shaking ceremony which takes place prior to every game.  While the ceremony will remain in place, coaches are asked to remind their players not to remove their gloves, as a precaution and preventative measure for the possible spread of the H1N1 virus.  All coaches and parents are asked to remind players not to remove their gloves during the hand shaking prior to games.
