Lucknow Crushed Again
We needed to keep this streak going to keep the team alive. We was something we were quite prepared to do.
This determination was shown early on in the game. Wyker received the puck from Coop at the blue line and sent the puck home scoring early on in the game. 1-0 BCH. The rest of the period consisted mainly of failed attempts at goals for both teams. No one was going to score a goal for the remainder of the period. 1-0 BCH
Terry told everyone how we needed to score and we weren’t going to win with a 1-0 score. Shockingly, he was right as Lucknow tied up the game. Minutes later however, Wild scored from the hash marks giving us another 1 goal lead. 2-1 BCH. Still this period ended with BCH up by a slim lead of 2-1.
For the next 5 minutes or so no one was going to get a anything on the clock. Then Lucknow decided to shoot themselves in the feet. As they took 2 separate penalties at the same time giving us a 5 on 3 advantage. We weren’t going to let this golden opportunity go to waste. Riley picked up a rebound from Quaidy and had no troubles driving it home. 3-1 BCH. Lucknow killed the rest of the penalty however. Lucknow continued to be idiots as they took another penalty Then it was our turn to be stupid as Wyker took a roughing penalty. This made it a 4 on 4 play. It didn’t look like it could get much better but it did. Lucknow took another penalty, giving us a slight edge with 4 on 3 play. Terry Jr sniped a goal on the 4 on 3 increasing our lead to 4-1. Still both teams were playing 4 on 4 and Lucknow managed to sneak one in slightly reducing our lead to a 4-2. All the penalties had expired but Lucknow still wanted to have more fun. BCH was given a power play for the rest of the game. Wild wasn’t going to let this time go to waste as he scored another goal after being set up by The Greek. The game ended with BCH up 5-2.
