Tiverton is Beaten
Submitted By Eric Armstrong on Tuesday, April 06, 2010

We walked into this arena and were quite impressed with what we saw, automatic doors and huge dressing rooms that were just perfect. The arena was better than the team by far.

Riley got the first goal of the game after he broke through the defence and sniped the puck top shelf.  Tiverton scored the next goal. It might have been lucky but we probably weren’t passing. Either way this tied up the game with 5 minutes left in the first. It looked like this period would end up as a tie but Wyker was given the puck in the neutral zone and continued to skate until he reached the goalie. While he was by the goalie he scored five hole back the score 2-1 just as the period ended.
Although Wyker had preformed an excellent play in the first period he preformed something that would be labeled as not so good, the next period seeing how he took a penalty right off the start of the 2nd. Luckily, for Wyker’s sake, this penalty was
killed with little problems. Coop also managed to break through the defence and score 1 on 1 as well, upping our lead and making the score 3-1. Both teams tried although I’d say Tiverton was trying harder. Not hard enough though as  the period ended 3-1.
Up 3-1 going into the 3rd is never a bad thing. We knew it just would nice to have more insurance. That’s why I switched to GEICO. However they must be a horrible insurance company seeing how Tiverton got the first goal of the period making the score
3-2.  Durr answered this goal after being set up by Woodie. 4-2. Four minutes later Durr answered the call of duty again scoring his 2nd of the game after being set up by Terry Jr. We had this game. We were clearly out playing them now. With just seconds
left in the period, 40 to be exact, Woody sniped a puck top shelf increasing the lead to the 6-2. The game ended with a 6-2 victory
