McDougall scores a hat trick
Submitted By Julie Clarke on Thursday, October 29, 2009
The Midget AE had a strong showing over Saugeen Shores last evening with a 5-1 win.  Saugeen came out with a quick goal to start the game.  They were further denied by Brenden TeBrink who came up from the Midget local team to give relief to Darren Greidanus.  Greidanus Played a strong game for the rep team just prior to stepping on the ice for us. A thank you goes out to Quaid Preszcador for coming out to help as well.

Our team was really looking like they are beginning to mesh.  Our first goal was score by Scott Thompson assisted by Jacob Mcdougall and Nathen Martens.  Shawn Kennedy scored the next goal assisted by Dylan Doupe.  Then Mcdougall finished off the scoring with an unbelievable hat trick, with the assistance of Brad Hart, Thompson and Martens.

From watching in the stands it was a thrill to see the team working together.  They were really a force to be reckoned with.  Unfortunately we will be facing Blyth short two players on Sunday.  Lessons learned...we hope.
