Season opener
Submitted By Julie Clarke on Monday, October 19, 2009
The midget AE suffered a loss of 8-2 in their season opener against Listowel.  The team started off strong and held a 1-0 lead through to the end of the first period.  Listowel came back hard and scored 5 goals to take a lead that they just couldn't fight back from.

We have a lot of talent on our team.  Once they find their groove I am sure that they will be a much more formidable force the next time we meet Listowel.  We'll see how we can play if we stay out of the box, as it is much easier to win when at full strength.
