Blyth travelled to Hensall for a game against the Dogs and left with a 3-2 victory. A couple of PP goals scored by Blyth seemed to be the difference in this one. The boys once again played an excellent first and third period, but seemed to quit skating in the second. The result was two Blyth goals scored in the last four minutes.
The boys continued to play hard in the third period, and should be commended for that. Blyth scored another quick one about two minutes into the third and then the boys seemed to open it up a bit. We fired quite a few shots from in close but everything was right at the goalie. The Dogs efforts were finally rewarded when Try Lewis found the net with :59 left on the clock. This seemed to spark some energy, and seven seconds later Trey scored his second of the game on a nice pass from Tom VanEsveld. We played the last thirty seconds with the two man advantage but were unable to tie the game. Good work guys, and we'll see you at practice on Wednesday @ 6:30 in Hensall.
