Peewee Rep Extend Unbeaten Streak to Four
Submitted By Steve Howe on Sunday, November 29, 2009
The Peewee Rep Ice Dogs extended their unbeaten streak to four games with a 3-2 victory over Wingham at the Hensall Arena.

In another nail biter, the Ice Dogs scored first in the first on a goal by Pickle with an assist to Darth.Wingham tied the game just 30 seconds later as they headed to the second tied at 1.  The Dogs roared out to a 3-1 lead in the second on goals by Gomer and Darth, but Wingham would not roll over and got back within one with just two minutes remaining in the second..  The third period was scoreless as the Ice Dogs held on for the 3-2 victory.  Doogie picked up his second straight win in goal, subbing for the injured Haggy who is expected to return to action this coming week.

The Peewee Rep team now has a four point lead atop the Central 1 Peewee Division in the WOAA, and are heading to Detroit later this week to compete in the Motown Cup.
