
Peewee Rep Ice Dogs Maintain Grip on Top Spot in WOAA

The Peewee Rep Ice Dogs have maintained their season long grip on first place in the WOAA Central Division 1 after a 3-2 win in Seaforth against the Stars.
The Ice Dogs opened the scoring 41 seconds into the game, as Beckham converted a pass from Sinker with a shot from the top of the circle. BCH opened up a 2-0 lead with just 17 seconds remaining on the first period on a shot to the top corner of the net by Smitty on a set up pass from Townie.
Seaforth battled back scoring two minutes into the second, then tieing the game 4 minutes into the third period. Townie scored the go ahead goal for BCH on the powerplay with just over 3 minutes remaining in the game following a shot by Hammer. The Ice Dogs found themselves two men short over the final two minutes of the game but were able to hold off the Stars and come out with the 3-2 victory.
The Peewee Rep Ice Dogs have a 6-2 record in WOAA play and lead the division by 1 point over Drayton.
