Our first playoff win
Submitted By Nancy Huber on Monday, February 22, 2010
On February 19th, Novice local 2 visted Seaforth for our second game of the playoffs.

Coach Steve gave a great pep talk before going on the ice.  Everyone knew what they had to do, to pull off a win.

This game started out much like the last one against this team.

At the end of the first period we were up by 3-0.  Liam D. scored two goals, one assisted by Reece, and the other by Payton.  The third goal was scored by super speedy Ethan, unassited.

In the second period Seaforth decided to show us they were not going down without a fight.  This team was gaining momentum as the game progressed.  By the end of period two the score was an uncomfortable 3-2.  We still had the lead with one more period to go.

In the final period Seaforth again showed their strength by tying up the game 3-3 with 9:43 left to play.

The crowd was on edge as we witnessed lots of great skating action, tons of sea-saw battles with the puck, and heart stopping shots on Logan.

In the end BCH poured on the pressure and Liam D. managed a hat trick as he scored the game winner, assisted by the Princess Payton, with just over 3 minutes to go.

The dogs had to work hard to hold Seaforth off for the last few minutes, but they did it.

It was another great win for Local 2, and some of the best Friday night entertainment you can find around here.

Once again all the kids should be proud of how hard they worked and for pulling off another victory.

The next round of playoffs has us facing off against Listowel.
