Novice Reps Go 500 for the weekend
The novice rep team played a good weekend of hockey, coming out with one win and one loss.
In Saturday's game against Kincardine, the Ice Dogs rallied the troops and looked good from the first drop of the puck. Everyone worked well, with passing improving and lots of digging along the boards. Scoring for the Ice Dogs was Sniper Sam (3), Spanky(Spencer) and the Calebrator, with two assists going to Lively Liam.
Sunday's game against Listowel didn't end quite as well for the Ice Dogs, as they fell 6-2 to the Jr. Cyclones. The Ice Dogs had a few good chances, but ran into a very offensive team, who managed to keep the puck in their zone the majority of the time. The Cam-inator did some impressive work in the net, especially with the glove. Unfortunately, it just wasn't enough. Scoring for the Ice Dogs was Sniper, and the Calebrator, with assists going to Mac-man, and Lively Liam.
