2011-2012 Atom Rep - The Atom Rep Win First Round of OMHA Playoffs
Submitted By Dennis Gionet on Sunday, January 29, 2012
The Atom Rep were able to pull off three wins in three games against the Hanover Falcons during their first round of OMHA playdowns.  Way to go Icedogs!

After winning the first game in the series, the second game was played on Saturday in Hanover.  This was a very intense game and lots of back and forth action.  The Icedogs were able to finish with a 2 to 1 victory.  Goals for BCH were scored by Spencer C., assisted by Owen O.(what a beautiful setup to watch) and Jaden C., unassisted.  The Falcons tried their hardest to come back, but Logan B. played outstanding and wouldn't let anything by.  This appeared to cause some frustration on Hanover's part because the action seemed to be a little more intense, but the Icedogs were able to handle themselves well and maintain their win.

The third game in this series was played in Hanover again on Sunday evening.  This game was very exciting and was full of anticipation and determination.  The Icedogs came on strong and wanted to win this one!  The first goal was scored by Hanover but BCH was quick to score afterwards with a goal by McKenzie S., assisted by Jaden C.  Way to answer back Dogs!  That would be the final goal scored by the Falcons.  The Icedogs went on to score three more goals, scored by Liam D., assisted by Owen G. and Caleb D.(our outstanding affiliate) and Jaden C. would score the last two goals, with assists to Luke D., Jake F., Owen O. and Liam D.

As always our defence deserve very special mention as they truly are spectacular.  They were on every play that the Falcons tried to make and they never ever gave up.  Owen O., Jake F. Zach V. Luke D. and Brandon J.(our other amazing affiliate) you guys really are keeping us in the game and you should all be extremely proud of yourselves.

Everyone on the team has contributed lots to these recent wins against Hanover.  Keep up the good work as we get ready to take on the next team!
