09-10 Atom Rep - Atom Rep move on to next WOAA series
After a tough series against Harrow in the OMHA playdowns, the Atom Rep team moved on to face Durham in a best 2 out of 3 series, in the WOAA playdowns.
The first face-off against the Huskies was in Clinton on Thursday night. The team played well together, and played a game to be proud of. The final score was 3-2 for Durham.
Heading to Durham on Saturday for Game 2, the Ice Dogs found themselves in a must-win situation. The Ice Dogs came out determined to win, and win they did! Final score 6-3 for BCH.
Saturday’s win gave the Ice Dogs another chance at winning the series. Back to Durham on Sunday, with both teams aware that this could be it, and to move on, a win was necessary. Both the Huskies & the Dogs played with passion, and provided an exciting game to watch. The ice dogs were able to pull off the win, with a final score of 2-1.
